Hospitals tender array of job opportunities to people from all walks of life and all levels of education. From opening level position to jobs that need a high level of skill and training, hospital jobs are obtainable in nearly every major city and local community hospitals.

All nursing and internship and residency positions for physicians require hours generally in excess of 40, unless otherwise specified and rotating weekends, nights and on call schedules are mandatory. On the other hand, most hospital administration office positions run a regular, full time, 40 hour or part time, 20 hour work week. Most technicians and lab workers work shifts depending on when they are most needed. These positions usually run in shifts with early morning, late morning, afternoon and nighttime schedules.
